If you buy through a link here, the store pays me a small commission. Your price stays exactly the same. The commission comes out of the store's margin, so you never see it at checkout.
This applies to reviews, comparisons, the Phone Finder and any other page with a link to a store. Not every store runs a program like this, so not every link pays. I don't mark each one, so assume any store link might.
What commissions don't change
Commissions don't change scores. I set a score from published test results, specs and prices, and it stays the same whether a product has a paying link or none at all.
Ratings aren't paid for. Brands can't buy a review, a score or a better position on a page. When a product has a dumb flaw, it goes in the review.
If you'd rather skip the links
That's fine. Commissions help pay for the site, and reading it costs nothing.
If you'd rather not use my links, search for the product at your usual store. You'll pay the same price, and I won't mind.
